Danbury Trashers Video

I thought I would post for all of you hockey fans a video I put together this weekend of the now defunct Danbury Trashers hockey team in action on 14 December 2005.

Even if you are not a sports or hockey fan, it will be an interesting look back to Danbury's first pro team. They generated a lot of interest and had a very loyal following.

Danbury - A Provider To The American Revolution

Here at last is the first of two documentaries Time Out Productions did on the American Revolution.

This was shot in May 2006 at Kenosia Park in Danbury, CT during a re-enactment honoring French General Rochambeau's visit 225 years before.

This is the first film by Time Out Productions. It was produced by Kevin Gallagher, directed by Scott Lewis, cameras done by Joe Pisanelli, edited by David Suero, music by Julie Sorcek, Richard Sherka and Nicolas James.

Video Short Of The 2007 Bridgewater Fair

Back on 19 August 2007, my wife and I went to the annual Bridgewater Fair, held in Bridgewater, CT. It was a perfect day, the bands were great and one of the bands I'm looking to having on the program soon.

In the meantime, here is a short video of some pictures and short video clips taken that day at the fair.

Sheldons Horse - The 2nd Continental Light Dragoons

I'm proud to post here for your viewing pleasure the second of two short films I produced on the American Revolution. These were both shot in May 2006 at a re-enactment at Kenosia Park in Danbury, CT.

I worked on these films with director Scott Lewis. A few other people who worked hard on this were Joe Pisanelli (cameras), Dave Suero (editing), Julie Sorcek (music) and Nicolas James with some help with the music as well. I would like to publically thank these people who worked hard to these two films possible.

Time Out Interviews Charlotte Iserbyt

I was very please to meet Mrs. Iserbyt at the conference I attended in June 2007 in West Virginia. I have recently gotten the DVD of the conference and I'll be getting some of the presentations on the air soon. In the meantime, here is an interview I did with Charlotte over the phone in August 2007.

She has two websites which are simply fantastic! They are www.americandeception.com and www.deliberatedumbingdown.com and on this website the show she did with me is also running there in the video section of the website.

Before we get to the interview, here is some background information on her so that you can understand what her view point is on education and some of the other issues that she speaks passionatly about.

From her website:

Charlotte Iserbyt is the consummate whistleblower! Iserbyt served as Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), U.S. Department of Education, during the first Reagan Administration, where she first blew the whistle on a major technology initiative which would control curriculum in America's classrooms. Iserbyt is a former school board director in Camden, Maine and was co-founder and research analyst of Guardians of Education for Maine (GEM) from 1978 to 2000. She has also served in the American Red Cross on Guam and Japan during the Korean War, and in the United States Foreign Service in Belgium and in the Republic of South Africa. Iserbyt is a speaker and writer, best known for her 1985 booklet Back to Basics Reform or OBE: Skinnerian International Curriculum and her 1989 pamphlet Soviets in the Classroom: America's Latest Education Fad which covered the details of the U.S.-Soviet and Carnegie-Soviet Education Agreements which remain in effect to this day. She is a freelance writer and has had articles published in Human Events, The Washington Times, The Bangor Daily News, and included in the record of Congressional hearings.
